  • Pepper Place

    Pepper Place is one of Birmingham, Alabama’s most vibrant downtown destinations. Filled with James Beard award-winning restaurants, locally owned shops, an award-winning farmer’s market, it is a top destination for locals and tourists in Alabama. Since the Spring of 2022, I have been the sole social media manager and strategist for all of Pepper Place’s social media channels, as well as the Pepper Place blog.

  • Sloss Real Estate

    While working as Director of Digital Strategy at FRED Communications, our client Sloss Real Estate came to us in the Summer of 2022 with the need to create a social media page —specifically an Instagram page and Facebook page. I met with the Sloss Real Estate team, discussed digital marketing goals with them, created their Instagram page as well as a Facebook page. I then managed the pages for a few months before handing off the management to a member of my team.

  • Fravert

    As Director of Digital Strategy at FRED Communications, our client Fravert Services came to us with the need to design, strategize, and manage their social media pages and content. I met with the Fravert team, learned their desires and goals for social media, then went forward in strategizing and drafting a social media plan for their Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn pages.

  • This Wild Amazing Life

    In the fall of 2019, I founded my own brand “This Wild Amazing Life”. Under this brand falls a blog, a photography business, a Tiktok page with 6k followers, and an Instagram page with 2k followers. “This Wild Amazing Life” was founded to share stories, be an advocate for mental health, show my passion for body confidence, and share my passion for women’s rights. I work on this brand daily. It is my passion project and I love it!

  • Landing

    I worked with the real estate startup “Landing” from 2021 - 2022. Landing has a network of contract workers known as “Hosts” who clean and maintain the rental properties Landing owns all over the country. I was the sole curator and writer for the “host specific” social media pages.

  • Dixie Design Collective

    From 2018 - 2019, I worked with the paper goods company Dixie Design Collective (now Dogwood Hill) as their Social Media Manager. In this role I curated, created, strategized, and posted all content for social media. I was the sole writer for all digital media marketing pertaining to Dixie Design. During my time in this position, I helped Dixie’s Instagram grow from 12k followers to 30k in under a year.

  • Blue Eye Brown Eye

    During 2017 - 2018, I worked with the paper goods/calligraphy company Blue Eye Brown Eye as the Social Media Coordinator and Photographer from 2017 - 2018. In this role I curated, created, strategized, photographed, and posted all content for social media — specifically Instagram. I wrote in the brand voice of Blue Eye Brown Eye’s creator/founder Lauren Essl— very upbeat, fun, and sometimes goofy!
